Meet Laura Sloan
Welcome. My name is Laura Sloan. Having spent most of my professional career in the wellness and fitness industry, I understand first hand the challenges we can all face. One thing I have learned most with my clients is that accountability is a huge key to success, whether it is in the fitness area or everyday life. I have been a qualified licensed fitness trainer through NFPT and a weight loss and wellness coach at locations in DFW and St. Louis , MO. I have educated myself on ways we can overcome health challenges. And most importantly, I myself am always a work in progress and on my own journey.
If you need assistance achieving your wellness goals, creating a balance in your life, and working on yourself from within ( in order to be the best version of yourself), I would love to help. Life can be extremely stressful and beat us down, and being stressed attributes to many unwanted habits and conditions.
As I have always made it clear to my clients that even though "There is no such thing as a magic pill" there are things we can put in our body that help us stay focused, give us extra energy, and provide us with nutrition to sustain our long days. I am a part of a company that offers products ranging from aiding with better sleep, extra energy, mental focus, and even can help us achieve better results physically.
As your coach, I will teach you how to have a balance. My personal belief is spiritually, physically, mentally, financially, and socially. If any of those are out of whack, it can effect all areas. Remember, we are all in this together. As far as the nutrition aspect, you will learn how to prepare regular grocery store foods that are filling and guilt-free and also how to order out at restaurants without gaining the extra pounds. This is not based on frozen meals, shots, or starvation.
